Locknuts & Metric Locknuts

Offering standard and metric all metal locknuts, constructed entirely of high strength metals with different strength thresholds. Locknuts are differentiated from other hex nuts by the deformed thread resulting in extra friction that locks the nut in place during installation. This locking feature is sought out in those applications with high vibration or movement to help reduce the risk of failure. Locknuts offer high temperature resistance making them suitable for extreme conditions in the automotive industry, for example. Both standard and metric locknuts can be found in construction applications and industrial machinery as well.
