USA (Domestic) Finished Hex Nut

Standard finished hex nuts are offered in different grades that denote their material strength, specifically to be matched with a corresponding bolt for consistency. Offering finished hex nuts of domestic origin for those projects that specifically call out this requirement.
 
The diameter and thread pitch must correspond to the threaded fastener to avoid failure or stripping of the threads. Hex nuts are utilized in a variety of industries, as the customization options allow for use in most any application.  Medium strength, grade 5 hex nuts are common in machinery applications. Grade 8 hex nuts can be found in heavy machinery or used for structural components that demand strength and durability.

GRADE 5: These hex nuts are manufactured of medium-carbon steel USA (Domestic) origin, supporting a tensile strength of around 120,000 psi.
GRADE 8: These hex nuts are manufactured of medium-carbon alloy steel USA (Domestic) origin, supporting a tensile strength of around 150,000 psi.
 
Certifications or material test reports (MTRs) are available upon request for USA (Domestic) Hex Nuts.
