Blind Rivets

Blind rivets or pop rivets are comprised of two parts- the rivet body/shell and the mandrel. Blind rivets are ideal for applications where the user has access to one side of the material only. The connection is permanent and can endure significant load stress. Offering flexibility, rivets can be installed into a variety of base materials and are widely available in steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.

During installation, the mandrel is pulled through the body and results in a deformation that snaps the excess mandrel and holds the rivet in place. Rivets are installed by a special tool called a rivet gun. The installation process is quick, requiring no pre-drilling, which saves labor costs in the field making rivets a cost effective option.
